About the event

TECHNOLOGY! NOT A ZOOM CALL! BEER!

Our edge as small businesses and entrepreneurs is our ability to implement innovative ideas faster and better than the big guys.

SO;

For our next event we've brought in panelists (see below) who work in that sweet spot of technology and the built environment. Folks who are up to date on how to implement technology, where to find it, and most importantly, why it's the way of the future.

Now, as excited as we are for the content of this event, we're possibly even more excited about the DELIVERY component! We pride ourselves on bringing amazing people together and creating the space for great conversations and ideas to happen, which is a difficult thing to cultivate online.... BUT, with our new event delivery software we can bring that sense of comradery and friednship back to the table.

No. More. Zoom. Events!

Listen a little, talk a little. Tables, different floors, and most importantly, the autonomy to move freely about the event, virtually. It's about as close as we'll get to the real thing ... for now.

Our panelists:

Tom Moroney is a Virtual Design & Construction coordinator at EllisDon Construction. His role involves using 3D models to coordinate and execute construction projects. (It's project management in the 21st century, people!) He services far-flung project teams simultaneously, acting as a hybrid of project management and technical support.

Kayla Browne is an associate at Sturgess Architecture and a Principal at Bold Workshop. Sturgess is known for forward thinking design practice, and Kayla is well suited to talk about how modeling and drafting technologies (in addition to shifting mindsets!) will change the way we work in the near future.

Jeff Jackson is the founder of Bōde Real Estate and currently VP of Enterprise Sales. Bōde is a made-in-Calgary online Real Estate platform looking to move home buying & selling into the 21st century. "We've been selling our cars, electronics and sporting equipment online for years, I believe the same can be true of real estate."

Hope to see you there!
