About the event

As you know by now, part of our mandate is to provide valuable, actionable takeaways that you can apply to your business the very next day. To that end, we are hosting a workshop that highlights building and maintaining relationships through a project.

Our last event featured Penny Dyte, who––after 37 years of business experience––decided to open two venue spaces in downtown Calgary. For the workshop we've added two more voices to the conversation; the designer behind the vision, and the builder who made it a reality.

We'll be hosting a discussion that highlights the considerations of each stakeholder.

When we talk about collaboration, this is the golden ticket. By understanding the limitations, inefficiencies, and desires of the whole team, we can improve our product as an industry. Conversations like these help our industry establish consistency and, really, who doesn't want more consistency?

We are encouraging guests to invite their current or perspective clients to the event to glean wisdom on how to successfully navigate what is often a tumultuous process.

Meet our hosts:

The Client: Penny Dyte

  • Penny has 37 years of business experience in sales, marketing, client service, board governance, and team management. Amongst several other responsibilities Penny runs both Venue308 and The Brownstone YYC; two newly renovated spaces in the heart of Calgary's events district.

The Designer: LeAnne Bunnell

  • LeAnne and her team have developed a formula for creating functional and exquisite family spaces, and love focusing on elegant and easy living homes. She has managed to turn her penchant for organization, obsession with living in beauty, and the need to have things ‘just so’ into a career she loves.

The Builder: Unique Projects

  • Unique believes that a project without a clear plan is not in the best interest of their clients, or theirs. They've designed a customer-journey-process from beginning to end that their clients can follow, and keeps them accountable. The purpose of this process is to clearly communicate each phase of the relationship and set expectations to which everyone can remain accountable.

Because this is a workshop, tickets are limited. We hope to see you there!
