It's our first Edmonton event!

For those of you who don't know who we are, we're Builders & Brews, and we host events for architects, designers, trades, and of course, builders. Our events focus on building collaboration within our industry. More teamwork makes more dreams work. 

A lot of our community members are small-to-medium sized business owners who are navigating the same headaches and conversations that you are, so we decided to get together and educate ourselves through discussion, short presentations, and workshops!

This event will be focusing on how architectural intent blends with technical expertise (in a constructive way!). From establishing communication at the initial phase of a project to the end, engaging stakeholders early and often helps everyone on a project succeed.

We believe in sharing. Sharing ideas, best practices, and resources. We don't believe in hiding our secrets for a competitive edge, because that results in short-term thinking. When we share, everyone wins–including the client. Simply put, when our industry wins, we all win. It's a long-term game and we want everyone here to play for just as long!

Carter Bernath is leading the Education portion of this event. Carter has 8 year experience in residential architectural design; 5.5 years in Saskatchewan and 2.5 years with DesignTwoGroup. Along with his passion for architecture he also owns a Real Estate Investment company in Saskatchewan with 36 units that he is always looking to expand.

Because this is a free event, and one of our pillars is Giving Back, we're asking guests to bring items for food bank donation. All items will be donated to the Strathcona Food bank, and you can check out desired items here!
