Community Building: A Fireside Chat in Collaboration with d.Talks and Friends

Mar 18, 2026 · 6:00 p.m.–9:00 p.m.

Chatting and about community-building in design & construction!

What is community? How does one take shape, how do you then manage it, and how does it grow organically?

We're collaborating with d.talks Calgary to bring two phenomenal communities together for a night of discussion around those questions!

Between socializing, we'll have a short fire-side discussion featuring the following panel:

Wilson Wong: Creative Strategist & Founder, d.talks

Amy Hunter: Events Director & Design Week Calgary Co-Founder

Jeff Humphreys: Podcaster & Storyteller, The Calgary Sessions & Shortline Creative

Byron Brooks: Builder (Brookwright) & Co-Founder of Builders & Brews

Event Timeline:

6:00. Arrival and social hour

7:00. Panel discussion

8:00. Social hour to close!

Hope to see you there!
